There is only one thing on the menu, and it is called "Trust Me". That's the phrase presented to people making pilgrimage to this spare and top-rated Upper East Side sushi temple, an immigrant from its homeland in Los Angeles (there's another one in Hawaii). Slip into one of the few dozen seats, preferably at the blond-wood bar, and give yourself over to the master's omakase (chef's tasting menu). No funky fusions or fancy robatas herejust pure and fresh fish with limited suace, like toro, butterfish and snapper, over a tad of rice. Keep an open mind, and a very open wallet, and you'll walk out a believer.
