Description:
After dropping off the radar in K-town last year, international Korean fried chickery Bon Chon has resurfaced two locations: in the Financial District andwhaddaya knownear K-town. (BCs former Fifth Avenue location still serves KFC, but under the name Mad For Chicken.) When franchisee Andy Lau noticed that the Zen Palate across the street from his apartment had closed, he ceased the opportunity to follow a lifelong dream of serving the lightly battered wings, drums and breasts to the hungry public. The former banker stresses that the chicken is made-to-order, so expect a wait of 15-to-25 minutes. Lunch platters range from $7-$20, while two bucks more at dinner. Four salads are served along with three bulgogi dishesover rice, on a platter and in a taco. That is right, the bulgogi taco has officially gone mainstream.
