With a 20 year Peter Luger vet at the helm, how can you go wrong? Housed on the main floor of the century-old Chemist Club building at the Dylan Hotel, Benjamin Steakhouse is one that you could see Old Blue Eyes himself hanging at. High ceilings are accented with white columns and brass chandeliers, and a 10 foot fireplace sets the room a glow. Rich leather banquettes hug diners digging into a meaty menu by Chef Arturo McLeod including succulent sirloins, filets and a 16 ounce porterhouse served on a sizzling platter - all which have been dry-aged in a sepcially handcrafted aging box. Fellow Luger alum Benjamin Prelvukaj joins McLeod, playing host, explaining the extensive wine list and mingling around the room like he's looking for Frankie himself.
