Description:

The Xinhua Bookstore is the official and only bookstore in China. The original bookstore, call Guanghua Bookstore, was established in 1937 by the Communist Party of China. The name was changed in 1942 to Xinjua Bookstore. In 2006 there were 14,000 Xinhua bookstores in China.
