Ed. Varie is a gallery, bookshop, and project space created and curated by Karen Schaupeter.


Ed. Varie is located at 208 E. 7th St. (btwn Ave B and C) in the East Village, just off Tompkins Square Park.

The storefront Ed. Varie occupies has always been a home to artists, and was the first anarchist bookstore in New York City. I am happy that we can continue the tradition in our own modern way.

Gallery open Thursdays - Sundays 1-7 pm, and also by appointment.
