Schiller Ltd. was established in 1959 as a proprietorship, incorporated ten years later and is the oldest antiquarian book firm in the United States continuously specializing in rare and collectible children's books in all languages and covering all time periods. Our prime criteria focuses on the development of juvenile literature world-wide and its related educational movements and progress through all time periods, but we also extend into other subjects of overlapping interest often the unusual rather than what may be expected. We issue catalogues on an infrequent basis, seldom exhibit at book fairs but work regularly to assist clients in many countries with collection development, agent representation at auctions, and appraisal services.
