Description:

The mission of The New York Public Library is to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and strengthen our communities. Down in the cellar of The Webster Library, volunteers have assembled thousands and thousands of books, records, CDs, and other fun items. No staffer at the book cellar is paid...the smiles from happy buyers is reward enough.

We have two rooms full of great books at popular prices, and you never know when you'll find a real prize for just a dollar or two. We have a big new SELF HELP section, bargain books for kids, lots of autographed books and an expanded BIOGRAPHY section, arranged by subject.

Hours:

Monday: 11 am - 6 pm
Tuesday: 12 pm - 7 pm
Wednesday: 11 am - 6 pm
Thursday: 12 pm - 7 pm
Friday: 10 am - 5 pm
Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm
Sunday: CLOSED
