Who are we? "Exercise Zone" is a new kind of exclusive health club in
midtown Manhattan with a celebrity guest list of former students including
Brooke Shields, Calista Flockhart, Cindy Crawford, Diane Von
Furstenberg, Jennifer Lopez, and several kickboxing and judo champions
like Grandmaster Ron Van Clief the Black Dragon and Olympic World
Judo Champion Jimmy Pedro plus many important sports figures.
Romania-born Janko is an internationally recognized martial arts champion
and instructor in TaeKwonDo that combines fitness, self defense skills,
mental discipline and emotional equanimity.

"You can't teach this holding a clipboard while the client lifts weights," says
owner-trainer Janko. Claudia Janko's wife, competed with the National
Judo Team, and injects an element of balance and coordination into the
workout. Both are very familiar with the athletic field and sports holding a
college degree in physical education and sports, martial arts and judo.
Claudia still participates as an international referee
at many judo championships
