Description:

MF Productions is a comprehensive special events production firm focusing on unique and creative projects for the fine arts and philanthropic organizations as well as the performing arts, literary, film, fashion, and corporate communities in New York.
Melissa Feldman, President of MF Productions, is a special events producer with a background in arts administration. Her past work experience includes the positions of Assistant Director of the Castelli and Gagosian Galleries in SoHo and Senior Account Director at the Livet Reichard Event Production Company. In January of 1997, Melissa Feldman formed MF Productions, the natural outgrowth of her personal success in producing arts related special events.

Now in its 13th year MF Productions has worked with many prominent arts organizations in producing a number of multi-faceted events in New York, Miami and abroad. The company also works with many private individuals who share an interest in the arts and want this to be reflected in their private events.

In past years MF Productions has worked on a variety of exciting and prestigious events. Highlights include: the Brooklyn Ball at the Brooklyn Museum, which celebrated the opening of the Takashi Murakami exhibition, sponsored by Louis Vuitton featuring a performance by Kanye West; a private party celebrating the opening of "American Photographer," a retrospective of the artist Catherine Opie's work at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum; the Dia Fall Galas at New York's Hispanic Society of America; the glamorous Fall Galas for the Studio Museum in Harlem; three Fall Galas for the Hispanic Society of America; the opening of "The Station," an exhibition curated by Shamim Momin and Nate Lowman coinciding with Art Basel Miami Beach; the opening events for Gagosian Gallery Athens including a dinner at the New Acropolis Museum; the first benefit for the Art Production Fund, celebrating their 10th anniversary; the Park Avenue Armory inaugural Gala featuring carnival rides and performances by Martha Wainwright and Meow Meow; and the Performa Red Party with a Russian Constructivist theme honoring world renowned artist Shirin Neshat.
