Maria Mok Salon is the manifestation of Maria Rogersen & Jonathan Mok. Together we are pleased to bring you our vision of style, hospitality and service. Madison Avenue Sophistication, Soho Style, and East Village Edge. We hope as we grow anyone that joins us becomes part of our family, and community.

Maria Rogersen, born in Athens, Greece, raised in Connecticut, started in the hair world at the tender of age of 19. Since that time she has lived all across the United States, and Greece. She also received a BA in Education, having taught elementary school in Newton, Mass, for a while before going back to her first passion of hair. She finally settled back in New York, and most recently worked for wonderful Salon V, just around the corner on 7th Street between 1st & Avenue A. She is pleased to bring you her dream Maria Mok Salon.

Jonathan Mok is a native of Manhattan, having gone to school just a few blocks away, he is pleased to be able to bring his touch to the city he grew up in. Having a BA in Economics, and Small Business, as well as being an Independent Licensed Real Estate Broker, he is now embarking on fulfilling his dream of opening a small business, with his longtime girlfriend Maria.

Our newly built space was a gut renovation that took several months of diligent planning and construction, of what was a previously dilapadated workspace. What was critical was that we wanted a space that represented our personal style, as well as a fully functional and comfortable space for both our clients and us. We wanted it to feel like the loft apartment we never had, for everyone to enjoy. So come on over!
