At Mathnasium, we specialize in teaching students math the way that makes sense to them. We are located in nearby Montclair in the Van Vleck business shopping district across Nanua's Restaurant. Using the time-tested proprietary Mathnasium Method and curriculum that has helped thousands of students nationwide, we provide one-on-one tutoring and enrichment in the following areas:

We are committed to helping your child catch up, keep up, and get ahead in math. Our team of highly skilled instructors is passionate about math and helping students and has been rigorously trained to teach the Mathnasium way.

At Mathnasium, students receive one-on-one instruction and a customized learning plan based on their unique needs and goals. We focus on filling in the gaps in each student's mathematical foundations while providing him or her with the help, guidance, and encouragement necessary to tackle what's being taught in school. The results are measurable progress, a renewed sense of confidence, and a positive attitude toward math and learning.

Also, we offer drop-in tutoring for high school students who need immediate homework and test prep assistance during school nights and weekends. And, we also provide private tutoring and test preparation for the NJASK , COOP , SSAT, ISEE , SAT/ACT and AP exams.

Beginning this summer, we will offer pre-K to 1st grade students, our unique First Steps program to develop a child's number sense through the exploration of shapes, and numeration in small individualized learning groups.
