Roy Teeluck, world-renowned hair stylist and founder of the Roy Teeluck Salon in New York City, began his career twenty-five years ago at a small salon in the suburbs of London, where he was raised. He soon moved to London where his career flourished. Eager to travel the globe, Roy relocated to Paris where he developed his signature style and became known for creating sexy styles that worked with the hairs natural texture rather than against it.

In 1989 Roy to moved to New York City to establish his own name and client base. From there he moved to Beverly Hills and quickly cultivated an extensive celebrity clientele and became a fixture on the Los Angeles beauty scene. Roy and his staff continue to style the Oscar Fashion Preview. After several years in Los Angeles, Roy was ready to take on his greatest challenge; opening an eponymous salon in New York on East 57th Street, the epicenter of glamour.

In April of 2003, Roy Teeluck opened its doors, becoming a beauty haven for many high-profile influencers, celebrities, and a diverse clientele. My dream has always been to open a salon that embraces all aspects of beauty, and assembling the best talent from around the world, explains Roy. Today, that close-knit group of top talent provides exceptional customer service by pampering each guest no matter who they are. Surrounded by such storied neighbors as The Four Seasons Hotel, Chanel, Prada, and Yves Saint Laurent, Roy draws inspiration from the areas rich history. The concept is a throw back to 1970s glamour. To create a true beauty destination in a warm, inviting atmosphere, he says.
