MARY JONES and RANDALL SEALE teamed up in 1997 to open ULTRA, a small salon in New York's East Village with just enough room for themselves and their clients.

A lot has changed since then! Within two years, the four chair salon had grown to eight chairs. In 2007, ULTRA moved into a sparkling new fourteen chair salon at 123 Essex Street, designed with help of architect Mark Krayenhoff. Climb the stairs to the second floor where ULTRA offers beauty services and hair care, skincare and other pampering products. On the ground floor, downstairs from ULTRA, is a separate nail and waxing salon, Ultra Nail Salon.

MARY is an expert colorist. She can help correct a botched home dye job and get you back to looking like a movie star in one session! She can also trim your tresses to keep your at-home maintenance amazingly easy.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, RANDALL can turn anyone into a Texas blonde! He has an incredibly diverse clientele, all of whom are well heeled. His haircuts are bar-none the best. He makes it seem like hes not even trying, but without a doubt gets perfect results every time.
