In a cruelly ironic twist, the so-called Access Theater actually requires a hike up some steep stairs. But once youve puffed your way up there, this tiny 60-seat theater at Broadway and White may surprise you with its strong tradition of clever, acerbic playwriting; writers like Brian Dykstra, Matthew Freeman and David Johnston have all called it home. Around since 1992, the theater (and the brightly lit neighboring gallery) can be rented, but it also has a strong producing history.
